Announcements

List of Announcements

Go to Application → Announcements in the main menu. You will see a list of your announcements.

Open an announcement's details by clicking its title or create a new one by clicking Add new in the top right corner. When in the announcement's details, you can edit it in the same way as when you create a new announcement.

Clone or delete individual announcements using the buttons in the Actions column on the right hand side.

To bulk change or delete announcements, check 1 or more of them using the checkboxes on the left and click the Change or Delete button in the top right corner.

Create a New Announcement

Go to Application → Announcements in the main menu and click Add new in the top right corner.

Fill out the form to set up your announcement:

Title (mandatory): The title is not displayed in the announcement. It will be appear in your list of announcements.

Text (mandatory): The actual text of your announcement.

Type (mandatory): Select the type of announcement. Info – blue, success – green, warning – yellow, danger – red.

All users: Check the button to display the announcement to all users.

Users: Select which users or user groups should see the announcement.

Time: Select the beginning and end date and time to display the announcement.

Click Save at the top or bottom of the form. The announcement will be displayed on the Dashboard of the users you have selected for the period of time you have set up. A maximum of 10 announcements can be displayed at a time.

Add the Announcements Widget to Your Dashboard

If you use Announcements often, you can add the Announcements widget to your Dashboard to quickly access it any time.

Go to Manage → Users → Accesses. Click the Dashboard icon in the Actions column of the appropriate right, then drag and drop the Manage announcements widget to the Dashboard.
