Shifts¶
Basic Settings¶
Top panel
- Active: Determines if the shift is currently active and available for employee use
- Holiday: Grants permission for shift implementation within designated holiday periods
- On Call: Disables queue connection checks for employees whose work involves queue usage
- Allow Shifts to overlap: Permits simultaneous shifts without mutual exclusion
- Specify Days: Select applicable days for the shift
Shift's Detail¶

| Shift Type Name | Names the shift |
| Abbreviation | Concise technical identifier appearing in scheduling plans |
| Colour | Sets the abbreviation text colour |
| Background | Sets the abbreviation background colour |
| Description | Documents the shift's purpose |
| Shift Start | Defines shift commencement time |
| Length | Specifies shift duration in hours from the start time |
| Range | When enabled, allows specification of exact end time |
| Valid From | Initial date when shift scheduling becomes available |
| Valid To | Final date after which shift scheduling is unavailable |
Note: The whole time encompasses all breaks during the particular day.
Breaks¶
Select break types and scheduling windows. The time range indicates when breaks can be scheduled, not their duration—break length is determined by the selected break type.
Break's detail

| Break Type | Specifies the particular break category |
| Start | Defines earliest break start time |
| Length | Specifies hours available for break scheduling from the start time |
| Range | When enabled, sets the deadline after which breaks cannot be scheduled |
Multiple break types can be added to a single shift using the Plus button.
