Accounts Database Form Settings¶
An account is a company or organisation in your CRM; contacts (people) can belong to it. You need accounts if you serve businesses with several people each β if you serve individuals only, you can skip them. Like contacts, accounts live in a CRM database, and each database has its own account form.
For how accounts relate to contacts, tickets and CRM records, see How Customer Data Works.
Go to Settings β CRM β Databases and, in the Form column, click Accounts to define your custom account form. If you do not set up a custom form, you will only be able to use the CRM Accounts module with these basic fields: Title, SLA, User who created the account and Description. We recommend setting up the fields that you need in your day-to-day work.
Info
The SLA of an account overrides the category SLA of tickets belonging to the account's contacts. See SLA.
Set up Your Form Field Layout¶
The form builder and custom fields work the same across Daktela β see Custom Fields & Forms for the complete guide: layout, default values, field types and option editing.
