Event Configuration¶
An event configuration is a saved JSON array that you can reuse across many events. Instead of typing the same values β an API access token, the address of your own endpoint β into every event, you store them once in Settings β Workflows β Event configuration and load them wherever they are needed. When a value changes, you update it in one place.
Add a New Event Configuration¶
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | The name of your configuration. |
| Configuration | The list of values, in JSON format. |
| Description | An optional description. |
| Object | The name of the object in which the configuration is stored. |
How to Use It¶
A typical use is to store an API user's access token for calls to the Daktela API, or the addresses of your own endpoints.

To use a configuration in an event, open the event's actions and drag the Configuration loader into the event β see Events β Loader. The loaded values can then be used in the event's actions and conditions, for example in an Open URL address action.
