Cyber Essentials¶
Daktela holds the Cyber Essentials certification, issued under the UK government scheme operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Cyber Essentials is the minimum recommended cybersecurity standard for organizations of all sizes in the United Kingdom.
The certification verifies that our systems and processes comply with five technical controls that protect against the most common internet-based threats:
- Firewalls β filtering network traffic between the internet and internal infrastructure
- Secure configuration β minimizing the attack surface through correct system settings
- User access control β managing who has access to which data and services
- Malware protection β detecting and neutralizing malicious software
- Security update management β regularly patching vulnerabilities
This certification provides independent confirmation that Daktela approaches cybersecurity in a systematic way and in line with recognized international standards. Together with the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications, Cyber Essentials forms part of our comprehensive security and quality framework.
