Daktela SW Phone Not Working¶
I cannot make calls using the Daktela software phone¶
Solution¶
The most common cause of a disconnected phone is that the phone is not running or is incorrectly configured.
- Please check if you have Daktela SW Phone running.

- If you don't see the icon, please launch it. If you do see it, click on the icon, open Daktela SW Phone and check if the phone is Online.

- If your Daktela SW Phone is Online, please check that you have selected the device your Daktela SW Phone is configured for in your Daktela profile (in our example, this is device 401; your device will likely have a different number).
- If your Daktela SW Phone is Offline, please click on the settings icon

- Click on Edit account and enter your login credentials in the window that appears.

- If you have Daktela software phone with automatic provisioning (you can recognize this by the field names being Instance, User, and Password), fill in the fields as described here in the Automatic SIP provisioning section.
- If you have Daktela software phone with manual configuration (you can recognize this by the field names being Server, Line, and Password), fill in the fields as described here in the Manual SIP configuration section.
-
If the above doesn't help, clearing the cache for the user may help. Please follow these steps:
-
Click on your name or photo in the top right corner.
- Go to the "My Settings" section.
- Here you will find the "Clear temporary data" option.
-
Clicking this button will perform a check and clear the cache.
