Overview¶
"Daktela device is a software phone that is included directly in the Daktela application, eliminating the need for a third-party SW phone."

Creating and Managing Devices¶
Creating a New Device¶
Three options are available: 1. Add new - Create a device from scratch 2. Clone - Use an existing device as a template 3. Edit - Modify an existing device by clicking its title
Device Configuration Settings¶

| Daktela device | Enter a unique number (cannot be changed later) |
| Title | Display name for the device list |
| Password | Authentication credential |
| Description | Identifier text for future reference |
| Available for dynamic selection | Enable to allow agents to select dynamically from navbar; disable to restrict assignment via user management |
| Application | Select Mobile, Desktop, or Web |
| Language | Choose PBX voice message language |
Device Assignment¶
Once configured, assign your device through either method:
- Assign to a user via "Manage → Users → List of users"
- Allow dynamic selection from the static panel for current user access
