Basic Settings

Top Panel

Setting Description
Active Indicates if the shift is currently active and available for employee use
Holiday Determines if the shift can be implemented during designated holiday periods
On Call Disables queue connectivity checks for employees whose work involves queue-based operations
Allow Shifts to overlap Permits multiple shifts to occur simultaneously for the same employee
Specify Days Enables selection of specific days applicable to this shift

Shift Details

Configuration Fields

Field Purpose
Shift Type Name Primary identifier for the shift
Abbreviation "The predefined name of this shift, as it will appear in the technical plan"
Colour Text color for the abbreviation
Background Background color for the abbreviation
Description Explanation of the shift's purpose
Shift Start Time when the shift begins
Length Duration in hours from the start time
Range When enabled, specifies the exact end time instead of using length calculation
Valid From Initial date when scheduling can begin
Valid To Final date after which scheduling is prohibited

Breaks

Break Configuration

Employees can take breaks within specified time windows. The time range indicates availability, not duration—the duration is determined by the selected break type.

Break Details

Field Description
Break Type Category of break to be taken
Start Earliest time the break may commence
Length Hours available for break scheduling from the start time
Range Specifies the deadline for break scheduling when enabled

Multiple break types can be assigned to a single shift using the Plus function.
